Buster Keaton

From a Smirnoff advert

Joseph Frank Keaton was famous for amazing slapstick and keeping a straight face.

I’ve been stunned by his incredible ability with stunts as well as his poignant loneliness and that relatable confusion with the world.

My favourite films would be The General and The Electric House. They’re all great and well worth watching. Many are available for free on the Internet Archive.

I’ve enjoyed drawing Buster Keaton quite a few times over the years, even entering one drawing in the Springwood Art Show.

The next picture shows Buster Keaton with Charlie Chaplin.

That’s another fine mess you’ve gotten us into!
I’m sorry, Ollie…
